Counselling can help.

I offer a safe, confidential space for you to consider how these experiences and challenges are impacting your life and how you would like things to be different.

Christine Lanaghan MBACP (Accred) BSc (Hons)

As a Relational and Integrative Counsellor, I have studied many psychological and counselling theories and have blended together a particular way of counselling that focuses on helping you.
Before qualifying as a counsellor I worked in education for over 15 years and am now focusing on supporting emotional and mental health.

I am an experienced counsellor, working in private practice and for a large charitable counselling organisation. I have worked with many different people, challenges and experiences.

I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and hold professional liability insurance. Accreditation means I have shown the BACP that my practice involves high standards and that my practice is ethical and professional. Confidentiality, working within boundaries, putting clients at the heart of my work and keeping my skills and knowledge up to date are of the utmost importance.

Cost of Counselling Sessions

I believe that finding the right counsellor, someone you feel understands your issues and who can support and help you is extremely important.

I offer a 30 minute initial consultation which is free of charge. This consultation can be useful for you to talk about what you are looking for; and to see what weekly sessions would be like if you chose to begin counselling with me. There is no obligation to proceed.

Counselling sessions are 50 minutes and are charged at £60.
