As a Relational and Integrative Counsellor, I have studied many psychological and counselling theories and have blended together a particular way of counselling that focuses on helping you.
Before qualifying as a counsellor I worked in education for over 15 years and am now focussing on supporting emotional and mental health.

I have experience of supporting clients in large charitable counselling organisations and also work in private practice. Working for these organisations has enabled me to work with many different people, different challenges and experiences.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and hold professional liability insurance. This means I have made a commitment to working ethically, respectfully and professionally. Confidentiality, working within boundaries, putting clients at the heart of my work and keeping my skills and knowledge up to date are of the utmost importance.

Cost of Counselling Sessions

I believe that finding the right counsellor, someone you feel understands your issues and who can support and help you is extremely important.

I therefore offer a free initial 30 minute session, with no obligation, where we can talk about what you are looking for. Should you wish to proceed I operate as follows:

I offer 50 minute sessions (often called a counselling hour) at a fixed price of £45. Sessions can be in person, on-line (usually using the Zoom platform) or via telephone.

I offer both long and short-term (6-8 week) sessions depending on your needs. I can advise which is likely to be of most help in our initial discussion. I encourage you to take the first step by contacting me using the form below.
